Newborn Bornean Orangutan Twins

Staff at the Hong Kong Zoological & Botanical Gardens are celebrating the July 8 birth of a set of Bornean orangutan twins. The birth marks the first successful breeding of Bornean orangutan twins in the garden, bringing the park's number of primates to five. They are the offspring of the park's stars Vandu and Raba. The male baby weighs 2kg while the female is 1.4kg. They are both in good health and in care of the park's veterinarians.

Too cute to wait for Monkey Monday. I wonder why they were taken away from their mother ...
