Empire State Pride

Rainbow colors decorate the Empire State Building for NYC Pride Week, June 24th - 26th: red, orange and yellow on the north and south sides; purple, blue and green on the east and west sides.

On Friday 24 June, the New York state senate passed the Marriage Equality Act, becoming the sixth state to legalize same-sex marriage. The other five states are Connecticut, Iowa, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont.
